The DVD was first launched in Caitin’s Pub in Kells, Co. Kerry on October 22nd, 2010. A second Kerry launch was held a few days later in the Gleneagle Hotel, Killarney on October 26th. In conjunction with the Kerryman’s Association in Dublin, a third launch was held in the Merchant Bar in Dublin on December 16th.

The final launch of the DVD took place in The Kerry Hall on McLean Ave in Yonkers, New York on Saturday, February 12th, 2011. Weeshie Fogarty, Christy Riordan and former Kerry great Donie O’Sullivan were the special guests on hand to launch the DVD.

The above Launch of the DVD took place in O’Shea’s Merchant Bar, Merchant’s Quay , Dublin on December 16th, 2010, hosted by the Kerry Association in Dublin under the Chairperson Kerry O’Donnell, daughter of the late John Kerry O’Donnell of New York.  The DVD was launched by Kerry football great’s Maurice Fitzgerald and 1970 winning Captain Donie O’Sullivan.  A wonderful crowd attended the launch, and listened intently as Maurice regaled the crow with his good humour and witty remarks.  He praised Christy Riordan, producer of the DVD and Weeshie Fogarty, Interviewer for a wonderful history of Kerry football that would stand the test of time.  He praised Tony Riordan, son of Christy, Joane Fitzmaurice and Christy’s pal John Sully O’Sullivan for their input to the DVD, not forgetting to mention Christy’s wife Geraldine for her wonderful baking skills.

Donie O’Sullivan who spoke both in English and as Gaeilge was unstinting in his praise for the DVD in which he urged every Kerry and GAA follower to purchase a copy of it.  Both men received a standing ovation from the crowd and were kept busy through out the course of the night signing copies and autographing various sheets of paper:  Spotted in attendance, just to mention but a few, were: Garda John Courtney & Eugene Lynch who hail from West Kerry  & former deputy Commissioner Tony Hickey.  Bart Moriarty made the journey from his home in Killorglin.  Hugh Flaherty, Liam Sheehy & his wife from Cahersiveen, G.G O’Sullivan from Valentia & John Curtain also from the Island,  the O’Sullivan sisters from Ardcost, Portmagee, the Curran brothers Portmagee, Eugene O’Sullivan from the Glen and Mary Kelly, Waterville.  Ned O’Shea who hails from Annascaul provided the refreshments.  Luke Moriarty, Businessman & Hotelier was also present.  Weeshie Fogarty on behalf of CR Videos concluded proceedings thanking everyone for a magnificent launch in what truly a memorable night.
